Fareham and Gosport CCG is committed to making sure that local services are safe and of the highest quality. We have a number of ways of doing this such as:
- Monitoring the quality and safety of services in the community and the local hospital
- Working with community and hospital services to improve quality for patients by setting and agreeing quality improvement plans
- Monitoring and investigating healthcare acquired infections
- Reviewing incidents and Serious Incidents Requiring Investigation (SIRIs) to ensure we learn and share lessons about patient safety
- Undertaking clinical reviews of the services we commission
- Listening to patient experiences and monitoring complaints to make improvements
- Analysing mortality rates and a range of national and local quality measurements
- Visiting nursing homes
- Working with practice nurses
- Having clear roles and responsibilities to safeguard the wellbeing of children, young people and adults.
